It works on both types of printers, and it's the best material to create mechanical props or designs with hollow parts. The finished products always deliver a clean finish with little to no after-work required to trim edges or make the surface smoother.


The best material to work with Polyjet printers and the one most suitable for working with products with a single color scheme. It's amazing for mid-level details and clean finishes. It also offers a good range of sturdiness. It's commonly used in the medical industry to design customized prototypes.

There are many more resins out there, but these are the basics to get started, ether if you are an enthusiast or looking to get some knowledge about FDM 3D printers. Keep in mind that the size of the filaments delivered by these varies depending on the project, so you need to do some heavy homework if your intent is to create a product from scratch.
